Construction of a mass timber office building
A new civic heart for the growing city of Bendigo
A joint venture project with construction company Fairbrother, Icon Fairbrother have delivered the City of Greater Bendigo Council office site into a major customer service and public administration office complex.
Located in regional Victoria, Galkangu - Bendigo Govhub project, is a four-storey mass timber structure government office building, including carpark, open plan offices and public interface.
Built in timber. Designed for people.
4 levels of predominately mass timber structure houses open plan offices, meeting rooms, reception and customer service amongst other spaces for the benefit of varied government departments.
The end result is an office building which celebrates timber as a viable, environmentally conscious construction material and a workplace which now enjoys the significant benefits of biophilic design.
